Going to the manufacturer can actually be detrimental as if they replace your product and it breaks again within the sellers warranty period but outside the generally shorter manufacturers warranty the seller can now refuse the warranty since you no longer own.

You re probably better off just getting a new headset at this point since the speakers are also known to give out after a few years.
So this leaves us with a few options should the cable finally go.
A 5 meter headset cable with usb 3 0 and displayport connectors on one end and an oculink connector on the other that connects oculus rift s to your pc.
It is the achilles heel of a wired system and i would like to have at least one around just in case of breakage.
