My garage door opener will not go up or down.
One garage door sensor light is yellow and the other is green.
If that doesn t do the trick one of the sensors may have detected a fault in the system.
If they are properly aligned both sensors display a steady light.
One will have a green light used to show that the units are powered up and the other will have a red light to show that there s no obstruction between the sensors and that they re seeing each other.
Since the lack of power supply is a common problem check the wires around the sensor when the led lights are not flashing.

If not fix this first.
When depressing the garage door opener the door starts to.
That can sometimes be cleared by disconnecting and reconnecting the power and then restarting the system.
If you do not see a solid illumination or your garage door is not working the problem is most likely due to the sensors being out of line.

If something is in the path of the beam or.
Before we get on the opener unhook it from the door.
The sensors do not matter here.
Make sure the door is hooked up to the opener.
If so re hook it back up.
Noticed one door sensor light is yellow and the other green.
Run it up and down by hand to see if it runs well and is well balanced.
Many times the malfunction can be due to a loose connection or broken wire.
Moving the object or clearing away any debris or other issues can restore the lights to solid green and get the door working again.
These sensors are little black boxes found on either side of the bottom of the garage door.
You ll need to first equip yourself with a wrench of some sort and a tape measure.
If so how do i correct it.
Each sensor will usually have a light.
Liftmaster sending sensor is yellow and receiver light is.
One of my garage door sensors is solid yellow and the other green.
Does it operate from the wall station and not the remotes.
A good way to check for power connection is to check if other parts of the garage are getting power.

I can open the garage door with my remote but not close it.
